1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
# بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1
$ 1533 The oath of Allah concerning the reality of the Fire 52:1-16
52:1 By the Mount
# وَالطُّورِ 1
52:2 and by the Book in lines
# وَكِتَابٍ مَّسْطُورٍ 2
52:3 in an exposed parchment
# فِي رَقٍّ مَّنْشُورٍ 3
52:4 by the Visited House,
# وَالْبَيْتِ المَعْمُورِ 4
52:5 and the uplifted roof
# وَالسَّقْفِ المَرْفُوعِ 5
52:6 and the sea that is full
# وَالْبَحْرِ المَسْجُورِ 6
52:7 surely, the punishment of your Lord is about to come,
# إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَاقِعٌ 7
52:8 there is none to prevent it.
# مَا لَهُ مِن دَافِعٍ 8
52:9 Upon the Day when the heaven spins dizzily
# يَوْمَ تَمُورُ السَّمَاءُ مَوْراً 9
52:10 and the mountains move, moving.
# وَتَسِيرُ الجِبَالُ سَيْراً 10
52:11 On that Day woe to those who belied
# فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ 11
52:12 those who are in plunging, playing.
# الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ 12
52:13 On that Day when they shall be pitched into the Fire of Gehenna (Hell),
# يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعاًّ 13
52:14 (it will be said to them), 'This is the Fire which you belied!
# هَذِهِ النَّارُ الَتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ 14
52:15 Is this magic, or is it that you do you not see?
# أَفَسِحْرٌ هَذَا أَمْ أَنتُمْ لاَ تُبْصِرُونَ 15
52:16 Roast in it, bear it with or without patience, it is the same, you are only being recompensed for that which you used to do.
# اصْلَوْهَا فَاصْبِرُواأَوْ لاَ تَصْبِرُوا سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 16
